Terms of service
Article 1: Conclusion of the Agreement
1.1 The subscribers of this agreement are the service provider ("Service Provider") and the user ("You") who provide train ticket booking services for users on the 8rail travel platform. This agreement has contractual effect.
After the user confirms this booking agreement online, they can use the flight booking service provided by the platform service provider ("Service Provider"). This agreement shall come into effect from the date of the user's confirmation of the order and shall remain valid during the user's use of the train ticket inquiry/booking services provided by the platform service provider.
Article 2 Service Description
2.1 The service content shall be subject to the order details, this agreement, relevant rules of 8rail, and the content published on the platform service product reservation page.
2.2 8rail only provides Internet proxy booking service, not the actual carrier. The train companies that act as agents for booking tickets are the actual carriers and are authorized public transportation enterprises in the countries where they operate. In case of any delay, traffic accident or other accidents during the service period, the responsible party shall be the actual carrier.
2.3 Users should pay attention to their own safety and financial security when traveling on the transportation provided by the actual carrier. If accidents occur during the service period, the actual carrier and the user should communicate and negotiate to resolve them. 8rail only acts as an agent to book tickets and assist in communication between both parties. Furthermore, 8rail shall not assume any responsibility other than as expressly provided by law.
Article 3: User Rights and Obligations
3.1 Before purchasing related products and services, users should carefully read this agreement, 8rail rules, and the procedures and after-sales service agreements published by the service provider.
3.2 When users submit orders, they should accurately fill in and verify the passenger's name, ID number, mobile contact information, date, departure and arrival stations, train number, seat type, and other information to ensure that passengers can pick up their tickets. Once the order is submitted, the information cannot be changed.
3.3 After the user submits the order, payment should be completed within 30 minutes. Upon receiving confirmation of successful ticket issuance, the ticket issuance is considered successful. The user should collect the ticket from the train station according to the agreement with the platform. If the user fails to complete the payment on time, the order will be automatically cancelled by the system. The user is aware that there may be a malfunction with the booking service, therefore the user will only accept a refund if they have not received a confirmation message confirming the successful ticket issuance.
After a successful reservation, if the user needs to cancel the order or process a refund, they should follow the refund agreement.
3.5 Disputes arising from negotiation and refund services due to reservations shall be resolved through negotiation between the user and the actual ticketing carrier. Unless otherwise specified by law, 8rail shall not be held responsible.
3.6 The user understands and agrees that the ticketing carrier obtains the personal information submitted in the order, and authorizes the ticketing carrier to disclose the information submitted in the order to the road transport service provider when necessary to complete the ticketing reservation service.
Article 4 Platform Rights and Obligations
4.1 The platform promises that all information published on the 8rail platform is true, accurate, and valid, and complies with relevant laws, regulations, and 8rail rules.
4.2 The platform will charge a certain booking service fee based on the actual train service, and the specific service fee amount will be subject to the display on the order page. If the ticket is successfully issued and the user has collected the ticket, the service fee will not be refunded.
4.3 In some regions, tickets may support online refunds. For specific information, please refer to the booking page prompts. If the page does not display support for online ticket refund, users need to go to the departure station before departure to apply for ticket refund or change according to the station regulations.
4.4 The service provider promises to keep confidential the information content submitted by the user.
Article 5 Disclaimer
5.1 Due to adjustments made by various train companies at any time, the train number, ticket price, and seat information purchased by users after booking will ultimately be based on the actual ticket price.
5.2 Any losses caused by incorrect order information provided by the user shall be borne by the user, and the 8rail platform and service provider shall not be liable for any other responsibilities except as expressly provided by law.
5.3 In the event of force majeure, including but not limited to hacker attacks, computer viruses, etc., resulting in the leakage, loss, theft, tampering, etc. of user data, the 8rail platform shall not be liable for any responsibility except as expressly provided by law.
5.4 The user understands and agrees that 8rail only provides services to the service provider through means. In the process of providing services, if a service provider engages in illegal, irregular, or unlawful behavior, the responsibility shall be borne by the service provider themselves.
